John Cox was the only son of Thomas Cox and Charlotte Clarke. Charlotte Clarke was baptised at Blockley, the Father Brown church, and lived at Paxford. John and his sister’s Mary Ann (Annie) and Elizabeth were baptised at St James Church, Chipping Campden. They family were issued a removal order and went to where Thomas Cox was born at Fulbrook.
